This is a pretty cake to make especially for children. After mixing up your cake batter, divide it into as many containers as the colors as you would like, you can then either use food coloring to get the desired effect. The other alternative is to use jelly of different flavors to give your cake more flavor. You can enhance the color with food coloring or just leave as is. If using jelly, please be sure to use less the required amount of sugar in your batter as the also has jelly has sugar in it.
